The Barrows brothers were a band of six legendary Saradominist warriors who ventured into Morytania during the God Wars, leading the Morytania Campaign. Their fate is revealed in the crumbling tome. Personally I really like Crystal Bow. The massive range (10 squares vs rcb 7 vs karil 8) is really nice to have and the thing is pretty damn accurate (100 vs rcb 90 and karils 84) with decent damage splats (78 range str vs karils 55 and rcb addy bolts 100/mith 82). It's right in the middle of the two for attack speed.Even with amethyst arrows, pretty sure Karil's is better than MSB (I), only by about 5%, but still better. This isn't factoring in the spec, but the extra hit would have to add 5% total DPS just to break even. Considering the time investment for amethyst arrows, I'd rather save those for amethyst darts and use Karil's. Karil the Tainted's equipment is a set of Ranged armour and crossbow from the Barrows minigame. Completing the Barrows minigame does not guarantee players will get a Barrows item. The armour and weapon require level 70 Defence and level 70 Ranged to wear/wield. As Karil uses Ranged, his armour gives a high Magic defence rating, making it popular for fighting enemies with powerful Magic attacks ...Karil's skirt is ranged armour worn in the legwear slot that is part of Karil the Tainted's set of barrows equipment. To wear Karil's skirt, a player must have 70 Defence and 70 Ranged .
